As you step into the world of Model United Nations, get ready to embark on a journey of diplomacy, negotiation, and collaboration like never before. Throughout this conference, you'll have the opportunity to delve into intricate committees, debate with your peers, and develop creative solutions to complex challenges.
But amidst all the intense debates and diplomatic discussions, don't forget to have fun! HawkMUN isn't just about serious deliberations; it's also about forging new friendships, exploring different perspectives, and enjoying every moment of this enriching learning experience.

Stephen Zaken, Secretary-General
Stephen is currently in his junior year, pursuing a degree in Political Science and Global International Studies with a minor in French.
Previously, Stephen served as the Co-Chair in HawkMUN 2023's Special Crisis: Deciding the Future of the USSR. He also serves as the Clubs Outreach Director, and competes with the Model United Nations Travel Team.
In his freetime outside of the club, Stephen loves to play pickleball, spend time with his friends, traveling, and fashion, he espeically enjoys finding new places to take fit pics to post on the gram. He is excited for this year's installment of HawkMUN and can't wait to see what the delegates cook up in their committees!
Blake Dodd, Director-General
Blake is currently in his junior year, pursuing a degree in Political Science and Global International Studies with minors in French and Intelligence and National Security.
Previously, Blake assisted in the back room operations of the HawkMUN 2022 conference and was HawkMUN 2023's Secretary General. Blake is the President of the KU Model UN club, and his passion for debate and law has led him to participate in the KU Mock Trial Team.
At KU, Blake is also a member of the KU Chess Club and the KU National Security Club. Outside of his academic pursuits, Blake enjoys reading, spending time at the lake, skiing, and traveling. Blake looks forward to hosting HawkMUN 2024 and is hoping to create an experience with diplomacy, collaboration, and new friendships.
